Brown bear is a large predator and a strong, fast animal. It's weight 140 - 415 kg. Color varies from black up to straw color, frequently it has a white "tie" on his chest. It's main forages are: juicy roots, berries, nuts, achorns. Hunts wild boar, elk. In winter the bear accumulates fat (up to 150 kg) and gets in hibernation until the spring. In places with a plentiful crop of basic forages the amount of bears is reaching up to 10 animals on 10 sq.km, the usually amount makes up to 4 animals on 100 sq.km.
