The Khabarovsky krai is the area where aircraft are being born! Komsomolsk-na-Amure is the larger center of Russia in production and supplies of military aircraft. For many years the KnAAZ (Komsomolsk-na-Amure Aircraft Manufacturing Plant) production has been the city and the krai logo. Over 12 000 new aircraft have taken off the runways of the Komsomolsk aviation plant. The combat SU-27SM and the SU-30M, the multipurpose SU-35 fighter, the stealth aircraft T-50 and also the regional passenger aircraft Sukhoi Superjet 100 are the most perspective high-demand products of the legendary plant.
